As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Administrator to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
System Administration:
Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software applications.
Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of all systems and data through regular monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, providing timely resolution to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Network Management:
Configure, monitor, and optimize network devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls, to ensure seamless connectivity and performance.
Implement and enforce network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems, to safeguard against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
User Support:
Provide technical support to end-users, addressing their IT-related queries, issues, and requests in a prompt and professional manner.
Set up and configure workstations, laptops, and mobile devices for new employees, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their roles effectively.
Data Backup and Recovery:
Implement and manage data backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect against data loss and ensure business continuity in the event of system failures or emergencies.
Conduct regular backups, testing, and restoration procedures to verify the integrity and reliability of backup systems.
IT Security:
Monitor and analyze security logs and reports to identify and mitigate potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
Enforce IT security policies and procedures, conducting periodic audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Documentation and Training:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and troubleshooting.
Provide training and guidance to employees on IT best practices, security awareness, and usage of IT resources effectively and securely.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3 - 5 years of experience as an IT Administrator or similar role, preferably in a SaaS-based environment.
Strong technical proficiency in system administration, network management, and IT security.
Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, virtualization technologies, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Familiarity with networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Knowledge of IT security principles and practices, including access control, encryption, and authentication methods.
Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) will be considered a plus.
